We hold multiple intra-club tournaments each summer, which are open to all club members and are free to enter. These tournaments include Men's Singles, Ladies Singles, Men's Doubles, Ladies Doubles and Mixed Doubles. The tournaments are competitive but played in good spirit and there are opportunities for all to participate!

The doubles are played on a mix-in basis with names pulled out of a hat on the day. There are also cups and prizes to be won on Finals Day. Format of play on the day is down to thenumber of participants and the individual tournament organisers. Typically, tournaments start with the draw at 9:30/9:45am to start on court at 10:00am. Often tournaments are followed by a trip to our sponsors The Rose and Crown! 

For the last few years, we’ve held an evening tournament for new members and non-regular league team players on the grass courts at Charlton. This year the R&C Trophy (provided by our club sponsors), will be on Thursday 27th August and will be followed by a BBQ across the road at the Rose & Crown.

Many club members also participate in the annual Charlton Fete Tournament, which is also held on the grass courts in Charlton. The 2026 tournament is on Saturday 11th July.

We also run a club singles ladder which is open to all adult members. There are two ladies’divisions and four men's divisions, with members arranging their own matches with the other players in their division.

We held our first matchplay tournament in 2025 and are planning to host a Youth Matchplay tournaments this autumn. More details to follow once a date has been finalised. Our more experienced juniors are also starting to play competitive matches with other local clubs.
